Update 2022/04/23: My old GPU still works and I got only two sales on it, but it totaled over 10 dollars. So I am doing another Bandcamp project. More details to follow on this.

Ever since the pandemic kicked in, I've been wearing a mask, which has become natural to me. On one summer day in 2020, while I was bagging my items at a Tesco self-checkout, a kid looked at me from the other one and said "look, it's a pl-pl-plague doctor", as I was wearing black clothes, although I had no beak... I have yet to get one.
Anyway, that started something in me. Then, a few months later, in October I think, I was informed about SCP-049. I heard that voice distortion and that's all I needed. I suddenly found myself with two other aliases: Plaguedoctor with my voice and experimental all-around, 049 with trance. Both had official releases in the past year. In fact, my first PD project, a remix for Harddance Luv's Skysurfer, was just a prototype, which then quickly got accepted. It just kicked off fairly quickly...
Fast forward to late 2021, and I notice my graphics card, a GTX 770, a card I had since 2014, started to have its fans slowly die with the bearings go out on both of them. I don't think replacing the fans with another, possibly low-quality replacement will help. So I started gathering funds for another GPU, because... part of my income comes from stream editing, and that obviously needs a graphics card. But in the current situation, it's impossible for me to just fork out ~570 USD (might be even less, as I'm Hungarian and our currency is face flat falling like the Russian ruble...) for a GTX 1660 Super, as I don't seek ray tracing and any of that fancy-schmancy shit. So my target is a used GTX 1050 Ti, which is a step down from what I have now, but it's better than nothing. This one still costs 220 or so dollars because 27% VAT, crappy currency, and all that jazz. Luckily, I don't need that much (and let's be honest, I'm NOT going to get more than ten dollars on this release, if I do, I'll probably flip out and produce another album for Bandcamp, you have my word), so this isn't even a desperate idea (I have roughly 160 USD saved up already). Just something to give out.
And then I got notified about a Bandcamp Friday on March 4. I thought "you know what? let's get one or two dollars", because yes, I have actually set my target to a single sale and one dollar due to having absolutely no confidence whatsoever, and put out another bunch of tracks. Five of them were produced in the past week. Four of them, the remixes, were made in the past 14 months. So I thought, let's try to make use of it and maybe get a couple pennies.
However, as always, paying is optional. You don't need to. You can take it all for free as always. I'll keep the tip jar method on Bandcamp because I rather do things the hard but honest way.
So yeah. This is a deeper look into something I've been doing recently. I've broken away from the "music scene", but I'm always open for remixes and requests, if you just take the initiative. Anyway... sorry for rambling. I'll post my thoughts on the tracks separately
